Design for Fashion Marketing
Entering my final months of university, I have taken it upon myself to work alongside a friend on BA Fashion Communication. My aim is to work alongaide differently-focused creatives to begin collaboration much like working from a studio.
For this, I created some designed items for webpages and magazines;
Traces of the Hand
I produced, along with a fellow student on the course, a short publication which, “presents a side-by-side transference of the pre-historic method of communication into a 21st-century outcome.”
A Letter for the Next
This ‘publication’ is a fictional narrative based on the tv series ‘Children of the Stone’. Within the letter, the child is explaining the strange events that have taken place within the show’s village. Along with the letter is a group of photographs that the child has taken of the stones which are the centre of all the madness.
Three Crane Lane
This video was created to express the views of the people who lived around this construction site. They’d renamed the street ‘Three Crane Lane’ as an ode to the seemingly never-ending building that is taking place in their area. As well as this, the introduction of the cranes to the area saw to a decrease in bird numbers, leading to the residents very rarely hearing the nature’s song that they once did.
