Following a need to remove myself from the city and allow for a systemic reset on my creative process, a friend and I headed for our local Brecon Beacons. We decided to take with us our euipment incase we felt an urge to ‘do’ anything.
This ‘project’ is a reconnection to what interests my own creative process, a strip back to the beginning , to the basics of reason for creating.

The work made on the trip is primarily video footage and charcoal drawings. These have been seperated interests of mine for some time, however recently I have been wanting to merge the two disciplines in this way.
The drawings were produced whilst sumitting to our destination, within dense cloud and heavy wind, the paper was hardly holding together - resulting in a quick and erratic process to get something onto the page.
